Pruning at the Santa Cruz Live Oak Grange

Please join us at the Santa Cruz Live Oak Grange as we prune the orchard under the direction of Freddy Menge (who has many years of pruning experience but still finds it necessary to scour YouTube videos for different approaches and techniques).
We will be discussing differences in pruning stone fruit versus pommes, young trees versus an established orchard (training vs pruning), correcting past mistakes, etc.
This is a hands on event, so bring your pruners, clippers, and pruning saws as well as a sanitizer (we recommend 70 – 91% alcohol). Drinking water too!
