How our current membership structure works:

🌱 Local MBCRFG Chapter Membership

At the local level, we’ve simplified things and eliminated annual membership fees.

  • There is no local membership fee
  • We charge admission at the door for events
  • Volunteers attend for free

All are welcome to join our email community and attend our events—no local membership required.

⭐ VIP Volunteer Inner Circle

To thank those who help make our events possible, we’ve created a Volunteer VIP Inner Circle.

When you volunteer at any event during the year, you gain access to this special group, which includes:

  • Early registration for limited-capacity events
  • Occasional VIP-only field trips
  • Entry into our end-of-year volunteer gratitude raffle

It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting the community.

🌳 CRFG, Inc. (State Organization) Membership

While we no longer collect local membership dues, we do ask that you keep your membership current with CRFG, Inc., our parent organization. Supporting them directly helps support local chapters like ours.

We won’t be checking memberships at the door—this is on the honor system. If you’re receiving the bi-monthly Fruit Gardener magazine, your state membership is current.

You can join or renew here:

Our parent organization publishes The Fruit Gardener, an award-winning magazine filled with invaluable insights for fruit enthusiasts. By joining the state membership for as little as $29, you’ll receive this fantastic resource bi-monthly in either e-format or as a hard copy delivered straight to your door.

Our parent organization plays a crucial role in supporting our efforts as a non-profit, coordinating scionwood harvesting, and providing insurance for all our events. Supporting them helps us thrive. They provide our local chapter with:

  • Liability Insurance, without which we would be unable to hold events.
  • Connection with the fruit growing community statewide.
  • Access to the CRFG brain trust for talks insights, and information.
  • Enhanced selection of scion varieties through the CRFG network.
  • Opportunity to attend the annual Festival of Fruit.
  • Subscription to the Fruit Gardener magazine
