60+ Variety Citrus Tasting (Cancelled for COVID-19)
March 15, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Update: Our citrus tasting this year is unfortunately cancelled due to recommendations of public health authorities pursuant to COVID-19 epidemic.
Extensive citrus tasting and discussion of citrus culture in our region. Member of MBCRFG, details by email, join here.
- Depending on what’s tasting good, we’ll have likely 60 or more locally grown varieties of citrus to taste: that’s lemons, limes, citranges, grapefruits, pomellos, kumquats, oranges, satsumas, clementines, other mandarins, finger limes, various hybrids, etc. See some photos of all the varieties at last year’s tasting here.
- Presentation on citrus diversity and local citrus culture by Doron Kletter begins 1pm, followed by tasting. Learn some of the nitty gritty on this fascinating and complex genus.
